BLIND DATE: IT IS A MARKED MEETING BETWEEN TWO UNKNOWNS


The WHO Agency and the Association Lisbon Fashion presents exhibition BLIND DATE, in the scope of the commemoration of the 20 years of the Lisbon Fashion. Ilustradores and fashion designers work altogether to highlight the moment most important of its presentations in Lisbon Fashion.


Beyond the commemoration of the 20 years of the ModaLisboa, while pioneering in the spreading and promotion of the national fashion, BLIND DATE is a celebration of the art to draw - fulcral base of the illustration and design of fashion, two arts strongly fomented by the WHO Agency and the Association Lisbon Fashion.It is, also, a chance of share and discovery between creators of backing distinct areas but at the same time.


21 illustrators, established and emergent, selected for the WHO Agency and the Association Lisbon Fashion, were invited to interpret, according to the certification of each designer of fashion of the calendar of the Lisbon Fashion, the most memorable moment of your experience on the runway.


Through a careful search, we combined illustrators and fashion designers, according to the specific characteristics that unite them, creating a BLIND DATE - consisting of plastic interpretations, rational, emotional.

BLIND DATE: É UM ENCONTRO MARCADO ENTRE DOIS DESCONHECIDOS

A WHO Agência e a Associação ModaLisboa apresentam a exposição BLIND DATE, no âmbito da comemoração dos 20 anos da ModaLisboa. Ilustradores e Designers de Moda nacionais trabalham em conjunto para destacar o momento mais importante das suas apresentações na ModaLisboa. O resultado estará em exibição de 10 de Março a 2 de Abril de 2011, na WHO Galeria.

Além da comemoração dos 20 anos da ModaLisboa, enquanto pioneira na divulgação e promoção da moda nacional, BLIND DATE é uma celebração da arte de desenhar – base fulcral da ilustração e do design de moda, duas artes fortemente fomentadas pela WHO Agência e pela Associação ModaLisboa. É, também, uma oportunidade de partilha e de descoberta entre criadores de áreas distintas mas ao mesmo tempo complementares.

21 ilustradores, consagrados e emergentes, seleccionados pela WHO Agência e pela Associação ModaLisboa, foram convidados a interpretar, segundo o testemunho de cada designer de moda do calendário da ModaLisboa, o momento mais marcante da sua experiência em passerelle.

Através de uma pesquisa cuidada, juntámos ilustradores e designers de moda, segundo as características específicas que os unem, originando um BLIND DATE - formado de interpretações plásticas, racionais, emocionais.
